The Watchful

O Allah,

Ya Raqib, "The Watchful."

You alone Art "The All Seeing!"  "The All Hearing!"

"The All Knowing,"

"Witness unto Everything!"


"Verily" You Art my "Protector!"

And, You Art the best to protect me, the best to aid me!

For, "all protective power belongs to God alone!"


 You are The Loving, Watchful God, 

 My "Creator" and "Sustainer!"


When I am hungry, You give

"limitless in" Your "Great Bounty."


When I am ill, You send Your Healing Graces!

You are "The One who restores my health!"


You Art my Saving Grace, my reason for being, O Allah!
 

When I call unto You ..You "are near unto me!"

For, You "are near unto those who have Faith."


O Allah,  Ya Raqib,

I Believe in and Worship You for

You are always watching over me!

And, "Thee alone do I turn to for aid!"


You Art my Saving Grace from

"the dark dangers of the land and sea!"

You Art My only Preserver!  My Sustainer!


Praise be to You, O Allah,

Ya Raqib, The Watchful!

Based on Islam through use of  The Hadith of the 99 Names.  The Hadith states that if one ponders on each of the Names of Allah (swt.), Believes in each one, and supplicates to them, one will enter Paradise in the Hereafter.

To Know Him is to Love Him.  And, to Truly Love Him is to Know Him,
and His Divine Attributes.
