Badi u-s Samawati wa-l-Ard

O Allah, Our "Originator,"

"Originator of the Heavens and the Earth!"

Hallowed and praised be Thy Divine and Majestic Names.


"Hallowed is He who put up in the skies

great stellar constellations,

and placed amongst them a radiant lamp,

and a light bearing moon."


You, "brought into being" all "the Heavens and the Earth!"

You "merely say to Creation, "Be" and it is!"

You "created all things, and "You alone "Know Everything!"


You Art the Glorious, the All Powerful God!

And, "all that exists goes back to" You,

O Allah, as "The Source."

 "The Giver of Life" itself.


And, You "alone Know the hidden realities of the Heavens

and the Earth" because You were their Originator.

For You Art the "All Knowing!"


"Nothing whatever, be it in the Heavens or on the Earth

remains hidden from" You, O Lord "God!"


And, we are not the owner of it for You are

the "Lord of Everything!"

O Allah, Yours "is all that is in the Heavens and the Earth!"


For You Art the "Ultimate Sovereign,
 
"The Ultimate Truth!"


Our Power "Originator!"

"Originator of the Heavens and the Earth!"

We "extol Your limitless Glory,

and Praise Thee!"


"Hallowed be" Your "Name!"

"And, Glorified are You! 

O "Originator, and

 "Originator of the Heavens and the Earth!"
 
The Source of all that is!
